One of the big changes with Canvas from the way Blackboard worked is publication of courses. In Blackboard, ITS could make all courses automatically visible to students on a specific date. In Canvas, we don’t have that ability. All Instructors must publish their course in Canvas before it will be visible to students. To publish a course, go to the course and click the Publish button in the upper right corner of the course window. That’s all there is to it!
