Want to learn how to create custom grade columns?  Need help creating assignments in your Canvas course? Want tips on how to grade student work quickly? Instructional Technologists Nicholas Liddeke and Lauren Mathiott will team up to tackle these topics and more at the July 26th UMKC Canvas Conference.

Their session, Assignments, Speedgrader, and GradeCenter, will focus on how to create assignments, explore assignment settings, and use the SpeedGrader. They will also look at the features of Canvas Grades, including how to create custom grade columns.

Mathiott said the duo will provide step-by-step directions on how to create an assignment in Canvas as well as how to use the full grade center.

Liddeke encourages both new and experienced instructors attend this session as they will discuss the basics and provide helpful tips for any experience level. “We’ll talk about how to create great assignments in Canvas, grade student work quickly and easily, and show tips for mastering the Canvas Grades tool,” he said.
